congrats on buying your first car !! when i bought my bug back in december i was nervous as heck even though she's technically my second vehicle (it was my first time buying from a private seller and also my first time not buying a literal school bus lol). as for my plans for the week, my best friend is in the area for a wedding so i'm gonna see them at some point. it'll be the first time we've hung out more than once a year since maybe 2018 and i am beyond grateful it's happening.

AAAH this was such a great video!! i've also recently finished my first sketchbook that i've had for ages (since i was 14, i think?) and it's so cool to see someone in the same boat!! also great to see a fellow wwdits fan, i've been designing a bat tattoo for myself for precisely the same reason!! your experimentation and growth was so fun to see :o)

Super cool art!!

I know some are going to disagree but our cats are unsupervised outside. They help with the extremely bad mouse problem at our house. Instead of using poisons we have cats. We are surrounded by fields. We have ducks, rabbits, and chickens. Mice can make all of them extremely sick. Our cats help so much with these issues. I make sure to feed the wild birds high up so the cats can't get to them and they don't have to get on the ground. We haven't had them ketch any of those. They always bring up the bits of the animals to the door. It keeps them down alot and I'm sure our neighbors also appreciate not having a huge mice infestation. I really love your art as well ❤ it's so nice

Im sorry that you didn’t get into the gallery but also remember that that doesn’t mean that your art isn’t good enough, there are so many factors to this things like maybe the jurors looking for something else, connections for people working there or a more steep competion, just keep going, your art is amazing. Hey Cordelia! I just wanted to share something to lift your spirits. You said that you will try little harder; but actually I want to tell you that all you gotta do is just keep on going at your pace, discover your skills and flourish them at your very own pace and continue to nurture your creativity. Dont ever feel like you need to push yourself or feel at a race. A good advice I received from a visiting artist who has applied to a lot of galleries came to our college to speak to students, he shared that just applying and receiving a no is better than not applying- thus not hearing back. He also mentioned that from his experience when galleries say no at that time, one of the galleries would actually call back a year after saying that they want his particular work for a show. So take that no as an opportunity for something in the future that can come to you. :) Putting ur work out there is all you gotta do, and keep growing at ur pace.

I love your sketchbook (it looks very similar to mine in some sense lol, especially the notes are relatable) Also I will have to use more flat colored backgrounds, they look so good with your pieces, it makes everything look more alive

I loved seeing you progress throough the sketchbook and how you got more confident on using color pens and trying new techniques and mediums, also love all the sticky notes, I tend to only use them ro cover really bad sketched but I may have to start using them as part of the piece itself, it looks really cool.

I havent had a fundip in over 20 years, still miss them lol we tend to do nothing for valentines day, its just like any other day for us 😆

The spread turned out amazing, I love hearing stories about people celebrating saint valentines because it has never really been a thing where im from, in schools we did nothing and most couples don’t do anything for it,so im so curious about the little traditions the rest of the world has, i have always found the aesthetic beautiful and the excuse to have a treat great maybe ill bake some heart cookies even though i will be extremely late (not like there is a date really anyways but oh well) We need to find more excuses to do little crafts and treats in our everyday lives. Loved your commentary through the vid ˚ ༘♡ ⋆｡

Love your style and idk how you just do straight up pen illustrations, cause I just really fear the permanence of the pen when drawing but your work is beautiful. Wanted to say thank you for talking about what you've been going through medically. I've been dealing with something chronic but undiagnosed for a little over a year now and I've had to take a break from schooling because of it, so as terrible as it is to hear anyone be given such a diagnosis from a doctor, I wanted to say a little more than that my heart goes out to you for what you've been through and will face, but that you're definitely not alone.

This video is just so much fun. I think your goals are great - I found to balance consumerism I do “no buy” months where I just spend the month adding stuff to carts or leaving up tabs to come back to and honestly 90% most of what I wanted I forgot about or realized it was kinda silly. Absolutely followed and here for your journey and all the future videos. This felt like chatting with a friend and the vibes are immaculate.
